Where can I vote?
First things first.
You have to be registered in order to vote. If you are unsure, you can check if you are registered by clicking here. If you know you aren’t registered and would like to register, click here for the registration form. If you are registered, you need to determine the district in which you live, as this will dictate your polling place. If you don’t know which district you are in, click here for a listing of districts by street.
For primary and general elections, here are the polling locations for Ringwood, NJ:
Districts 1 & 6: Erskine Lakes Firehouse (70 Mohawk Trail)
Districts 2 & 5: Skyline Lake Firehouse (67 Edgewood Rd.)
District 3: Cupsaw Lake Clubhouse (185 Cupsaw Dr.)
District 4: Stonetown Firehouse (169 Stonetown Rd.)
District 7: Borough Hall (60 Margaret King Ave.)
Districts 8 & 9: Ringwood Public Library (30 Cannici Dr.)

June 4th: Primary Election Day
September 21st: Start of Mailing of Mail-In Ballots
October 15th: Voter Registration Deadline
October 23rd: Mailing of Sample Ballots
October 26th - November 3rd: Early Voting Period
October 29: Deadline to apply for a Mail-In Ballot by Mail
November 5th: General Election Day
What if I can’t make it to the polls?
No worries.
If you are away at college, deployed oversees, away on business, unable to drive, etc., you can vote by mail. To obtain a vote by mail ballot, click here. To receive your ballot by mail, the application must be received by the County Clerk 7 days prior to the election.
A voter may also apply in person to the County Clerk until 3:00 p.m., the day before the election.
The County Clerk cannot accept faxed or emailed copies of an application for Vote by Mail ballot, unless you are a Military or Overseas Voter, since an original signature is required.
